Alta sends no message on your behalf. Every consequential action waits for your approval, and a ledger records who approved what, and when.
Sources stay separate from Alta’s reading.
Each line shows whether it came from a document, from you, or from Alta. Deadlines stay unverified until a person checks the official text.
Your information stays with your school.
Inside Alta, only your school can see it. An automated check tests that before each release.
No model trains on your work.
Alta trains no model on your information, and its AI provider states that it doesn’t either.
No student data needed.
Alta works with counts, budgets, and plans. Keep student records out.
Removal and deletion.
Removing a document takes it out of new work at once; its stored text goes when your account does. Ask, and your account is deleted within 30 days.

Alta is new and founder-led. It does not yet have SOC 2, ISO certification, or a third-party penetration test.

When a decision is risky or touches more than one part of your school, Alta proposes which advisors weigh in. You add or remove them.

Each advisor writes alone, cites what you gave it, and states its assumptions. One always argues against the leading option. Alta shows where they agree, where they conflict, and what is missing, then recommends a course. You review the recommendation and approve the final decision.
